My city across the bay.

SAN FRANCISCO.
I googled to find quotes that relate to San Francisco, to share with the picture that I took on my way home from a job and having lunch with my ladies in the city. I came across too many to just choose one. I have this theory that if I ever move to San Francisco the romance I have with the city will slowly dissipate, it is so special to be able to come and go and with each coming I realize what a special city it truly is.

"One day if I do go to heaven~
I'll look around and say, 'It ain't bad, but it ain't San Francisco. "

"You know what it is? San Francisco is a golden handcuff with the key thrown away."John Steinbeck

"The Bay Area is so beautiful, I hesitate to preach about heaven while I'm here. "
-Billy Graham

"I'm proud to have been a Yankee. But I have found more happiness and contentment since I came back home to San Francisco than any man has a right to deserve. This is the friendliest city in the world." Joe DiMaggio, at his fiftieth birthday party.

"East is East, and West is San Francisco"~O.Henry

"San Francisco has only one drawback. ''Tis hard to leave" -Rudyard Kipling

"No city invites the heart to come to life as San Francisco does. Arrival in San Francisco is an experience in living"
-William Saroyan

"The cool, grey city of love."~ George Sterling

"The coldest winter I ever saw was the summer I spent in San Francisco."

"I have always been rather better treated in San Francisco than I actually deserved."-Mark Twain

"Leaving San Francisco is like saying goodbye to an old sweetheart.
You want to linger as long as possible. "-Walter Cronkite
