I wanted to share these adorable pictures with you I took of my bosses son, Oscar. His twin sisters refer to him as noodle which has stuck as a nickname around the house. How cute is he?

Joans.
I tend to appreciate but question restaurants which are frequented by celebs and mentioned in tabloid after tabloid. However, hands down, Joan's On Third is amazing! Everytime I step through the doors of the family owned gourmet marketplace I am overwhelmed by the displays and wonderful aromas of all the salads, pastries and other amazing food freshly prepared in house. Joan's reminds me of my favorite market in New York, Dean and Deluca, which is another reason I find myself obsessed. The presentation alone makes you want to buy everything in there! They have a small breakfast menu but their options for lunch and take out are incredible. My favorite is the salad trio, you can have a little of everything over a bed of greens. Delish!
The sauces and soups are great to grab on your way home and add a sparkle to your regular meals. Everytime I try a new soup it becomes my favorite, so far it's a tie between tomato basil and butternut squash and pear.

Tiffany Blue
daffodils
It's that time of year, Trader Joe's have their amazing daffodils in stores. For $1.29 a bunch you can't resist! You have to find the stems that have mostly buds because as soon as you put them in a vase & water at home they blossom I swear within hours. I am not a huge fan of yellow, but it's such a great color to remind you that spring is upon us.
Playing with my flash....
(don't they look fake?)

Best Breakfast EVER!!
Anyone who knows me, knows that breakfast is my most favorite meal of the day. It's just such a great way to start your day with coffee, friends, and good food. There are an endless amount of restaurants that serve amazing breakfasts in Los Angeles, but BLD on Beverly Blvd. has become my absolute favorite! They key is to get there between 10 and 10:30, we have never had to wait for a table, but when we are leaving we literally have to go through a maze of people to get outside. First thing to order is a large french press, it is the best coffee I have ever had! I have tasted many things on the menu but the best thing by far is the Ricotta Blueberry Pancakes, you will never taste anything more delicious.
When my parents came to visit we went to BLD for breakfast and they loved it so much, we went back that same say for dinner... it's just that good!

DIY before and after with spray paint
I am constantly inspired by design sponge's 'before and after' section of their blog. People send in pictures of old furniture that they paint or decorate to make it look like a new and completely different piece. My best friend Juli was given a cabinet from her mom and after moving into her new apartment realized the colors didn't blend well with her other furnishings. Her first thought was to give it away and my first thought was SPRAY PAINT! When I moved my mom and I went to Blick and bought a bunch of different colors of Montana spray paint and painted my tables, some frames and anything else we could get our hands on. With Juli's piece we tried the gold which is so metallic you can almost see your reflection! They have so many amazing colors and spray painting is so much fun!!
Another way to dress up an old cabinet or chest which I am a huge fan of is buying different knobs. Anthropologie has a great assortment of cool knobs for a reasonable price. They have so many great ones, that it was hard to choose but we went with this one:
Here are the before and after pictures.
